2009 Review

Thanks to everyone who helped make Yorkshire Landlords Day 2009 a success.

In a dynamic sector with an ever changing environment and amidst the back drop of a recession, an impressive 400 plus visitors made their way to Pudsey Civic Hall for Yorkshire Landlords Day 2009. This was the second event of its kind in the Yorkshire region, designed for landlords to give those passionate about improving their business the opportunity to further their knowledge of the sector.

Organised by Unipol Student Homes and the Residential Landlords Association, Yorkshire Landlords Day has become a firm fixture in the Yorkshire landlord’s calendar providing free and simple advice to stay abreast of evolving issues.

A packed seminar programme took place with sessions led by some of the sector’s leading authorities. Sessions included Tax and Estate Planning, Successful Student Lettings, Health and Safety in Rented Accommodation, an Explanation to recent Fire Safety Guidance and an ever popular overview of Legal Issues affecting landlords. Exhibitors from all around the UK were on hand offering fantastic products and services to the landlord community were on hand to discuss developments and opportunities the region’s landlords. From investing in buoyant foreign markets to basement conversions and local authority initiatives, Yorkshire Landlords Day 2009 had something for all landlords regardless of experience.

A great day was had by all, and everyone involved in the organisation of Yorkshire Landlords Day 2009 would like to thank everyone who was part of the event.
